Turkey Chili Recipe With Beans

This turkey chili recipe healthy can be made in 30 minutes on a stovetop. Serve in warm dishes with tortilla chips and your favorite chili topics.

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 medium purple onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 15 oz pinto beans with juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 2 oz jar of diced jalapeños or green chilis, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 15 oz black beans, drained and lightly rinsed
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 15 oz white beans with juice
  • 15 oz corn, drained (or use 2 ears of cooked corn)
  • 30 oz canned diced tomatoes, seasoned or plain
Instructions:
  1. In a 5-carat saucepan or Dutch oven over medium/high heat, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and stir 1 pound ground turkey until fully cooked (5 minutes).
  2. Add purple onion cubes, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon thyme, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Fry for 5 minutes or until onions is cooked.
  3. Add drained and washed black beans, pinto beans, and white beans with juice. Also add the chopped jalapeno and canned tomato cubes with juice, tomato sauce, and filtered corn.
  4. Stir, bring to boil, then lighten and simmer without the lid for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. season to taste Near the end of the cooking process.
