Classic no-bake cookies

These Classic No-Bake Cookies are amazingly simple to make and only require a few simple ingredients. These cookies are loaded with peanut butter, oats, and cocoa powder, and they’re excellent for a quick dessert!
This dessert can be prepared on occasions and birthdays.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup (4oz) butter (sliced into pieces)
  • 2 cups (14oz) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup (1oz) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (4,5 oz) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (10oz) quick-cooking oats
Instructions:
  1. Make sure you gather all your ingredients and measure everything then start preparing, line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, add the butter, sugar, milk, and unsweetened cocoa powder and cook over medium heat, stirring often until the butter is melted and everything is well blended. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, then reduce to low heat and cook for 60 seconds, stirring occasionally (set a timer!).
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
  4. Stir in the oats and stir until fully incorporated and all of the oats are coated with the mixture.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheets that have been prepared (I like to use a 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop).
  6. Allow for cooling for 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
